This ecological corridor in Caboolture’s Central Springs Estate was designed to establish a continuous wildlife habitat, promoting biodiversity and environmental resilience. It aims to enhance environmental protection in response to anticipated growth and development in the area, ensuring that natural ecosystems are preserved and integrated into the expanding urban landscape.
This extensive rehabilitation project spanned nearly 45,000m² and involved a remarkable volume of planting throughout the area.
- Preparation of almost 50,000m2 of area for turfing and planting
- Cultivation and in-situ amelioration to site topsoil
- Installation of over 25,000m2 of matting
- Installation of over 70,000 tubestock and 40 trees
