Whilst Tom has recently taken a step back from day-to-day management, his presence and influence remain significant within the company. Tom continues to be actively involved at a higher level, capitalising on his vast experience and strategic vision to guide Interface Landscapes towards continued growth and success.

Dave Taylor

Director

Dave is the co-founder of Interface Landscapes. Dave is also a past President of Landscape Queensland Industries Association, highlighting his dedication and expertise in the Landscaping Industry. Dave is currently transitioning to a less hands-on role in direct day-to-day management. His influence remains crucial within the company and he will remain involved at an executive level, leveraging his expertise and passion to guide Interface Landscapes towards continued success.

Justin Carter

Construction Manager

Justin has been part of the Interface family for almost 15 years, reflecting his commitment and dedication to the business and to landscape construction. With a solid track record managing multi-million-dollar construction projects, Justin brings a wealth of experience and insight to his role as Construction Manager. Justin oversees and manages key projects for the business and ensures seamless operations from the ground up.

Andy Schalkwyk

Estimating Manager

Andy’s affiliation with Interface Landscapes has spanned over 20 years, easily transitioning through various roles and being promoted to Estimating Manager in 2024. Andy applies his extensive experience and knowledge of landscape construction techniques throughout all aspects of the tender process and during construction. Andy and his team consistently secure new contracts for Interface Landscapes, driving the company’s growth and expanding its footprint in a very competitive market.

Geoff Davis

Project Support Manager

Geoff’s journey with Interface began in 2012, marking the start of an exciting career path within the company. Commencing as a Project Foreman, Geoff quickly established himself as a cornerstone of the team, consistently delivering exceptional results. Geoff’s dedication and expertise saw him promoted to the role of Estimator, integrating his hands-on experience with the intricacies of cost estimation. Building on these solid foundations, Geoff assumed the role of Project Support Manager in 2024.

Darren Pratt

Project Support Manager

Darren joined the Interface Landscapes team as a Senior Foreman in 2021, bringing 20 years of extensive knowledge and a diverse skill set in landscape construction. During his time as a Foreman, Darren excelled in his role managing many successful projects for Interface and is held in very high regard by his IFL colleagues and clients alike. Darren’s management style aligns with IFL’s business principles, so it was a natural transition for him to be promoted into the role of Project Manager in 2022.

Stuart Lockhart

Estimator

Stuart joined Interface Landscapes in 2011 as a Foreman, bringing extensive expertise in soft and structural landscaping. His methodical approach and in-depth technical knowledge has enabled Stuart to achieve great success in his role as he naturally transitioned him into the Estimating role. Stuart plays a pivotal role in supporting the entire Estimating and Construction teams. His contributions go beyond his core responsibilities, offering invaluable insights and guidance that contribute to the overall success of Interface Landscapes.

Lachlan Barr

Estimator

Lachlan brings valuable hands-on experience to his role as an Estimator, having worked as a Landscape Foreman on high-end projects. His practical knowledge of construction techniques enables him to accurately quote tenders and provide key insights to the construction team. With a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills, Lachlan anticipates challenges and suggests practical solutions. His dedication to precision and collaboration makes him a crucial asset to the team.

Jay Hartmann

HSEQ Manager

Jay commenced with Interface in 2014 as a Landscape Labourer. Soon after, he was promoted to WHS Administrator. After undertaking comprehensive training by the National Safety Council of Australia, and recognising his demonstrated commitment to safety, Jay was appointed HSEQ Manager. Through Jay’s proactive measures and successful management, Interface has achieved and maintained certification under AS/NZS ISO 45001, AS/NZS ISO 9001 and AS/NZS ISO 14001.

Gloria Bonic

Operations Manager

Gloria, our Operations Manager, brings an in-depth understanding of systems and processes, honed through her extensive experience within the business and her engineering background. Gloria oversees the HSEQ, HR and financial requirements of the business as well as the implementation of internal projects and business-wide strategies, aiming to improve overall business performance.

Joey Hogan

Manager – InterfaceEquip

The InterfaceEquip team is lead by Manager, Joey Hogan, who has over 10 years experience in operating and managing machinery. Joey’s expertise has enabled the business to make the right decisions when it comes to purchasing machinery that will complement our business. Joey has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to on-the-ground machinery operation. He provides invaluable advice, guidance and instruction to machinery operators and on-site construction crews.
