Eagleby Wetlands
Nestled amongst beautiful gum trees, this park holds a special place for the local indigenous community.

Eagleby Wetlands nature play park is located within a beautiful environment renowned for extensive walking trails and a place full of opportunities for observing a vast range of birds and the other wildlife. Design of the park drew inspiration from the various life stages of the Latham’s Snipe Bird.
The park includes a variety of play elements including sandpits, tunnels, timber balancing logs, steppers, climbing ropes and giant musical chimes. The winding footpaths throughout the park have been sandblasted with bird patterns, reminiscent of the abundant birdlife that inhabit the wetlands.
The completed park differentiates itself from other, more traditional/modern playgrounds and parks, with its use of natural materials and the way the elements blend seamlessly within the surrounding environment
