Lightwood Parklands
Lightwood Parklands is Riverbank’s flagship green space featuring play areas, sports facilities, and open spaces for all to enjoy.
Lightwood Parklands is the first phase of the 60-hectare Riverbank Parklands Project. The park was designed to provide residents with easy access to nature and well-designed green spaces and has become the community’s largest residential amenity.
A huge array of fun playground equipment has been installed in the park, including a massive ocean themed tower with slides, a huge climbing net, multiple swings, rockers and spinners. A pump track for bike and scooter riders adds to the fun-filled area. The park also features extensive pathways for walking and cycling, fitness equipment, hopscotch, a basketball half-court and a sporting field with rugby/soccer combo goals.
Multiple picnic areas, BBQ facilities, and the grand open spaces in this park foster many opportunities for residents and visitors to relax, socialise and enjoyable outdoor experiences.
